It Begins

This coming Wednesday I'll be picking up my sister and her dog Harley at Sky Harbor. Then off I go, driving lots and lots of miles in my non-Texas-type vehicle with sister Kiki and three dogs. I've cancelled our reservation at The World's Worst Motel in Ft. Stockton, so who knows where we will lay our five little heads that night. The plan is to leave my lovely, comfortable (albeit construction frought) home in AZ on Thursday morning, and to arrive at my sister's farm outside of Katy, Texas by evening of the Fourth of July.
